In preparation for the holidays, we had a visit from the Grinch and invited our students to wear their best ugly sweaters to class. We capped the week out with a Parent’s Night Out! Have a joyous and safe holiday…a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hannukah…see you on the mats in 2025!
We completed our final rank testing of the year over two weekends for adults, juniors, and our little warriors, testing over 120 students!
We collected over two full, large cartons of toys for needy children…our biggest year of donations yet. We’re very proud of our students and their giving hearts this Christmas season!
Another awesome Manassas Christmas parade in the books for American Drengr Krav Maga…taking second place in the business float category! The largest parade in its history with over 118 entries! Our students had a great time getting together and spreading the Christmas spirit with special guests Deadpool and Wolverine!
Eight of our black belt students successfully completed testing requirements for their 2nd degree Black Belts on November 23d. They put a ton of work towards this day, with periodic pre-qualifications, plus three day-long pre-tests… and gave it just as much on this final day of testing in front of their families. We had a great time teaching students to escape restraints in abduction and hostage scenarios. Lots of duct tape, zip ties, ropes, and hitting things. Super fun topic for our last seminar of the year!
As part of our community outreach, we conducted a women’s self-defense class at Chabad House in Gainesville.
We hosted our annual Trunk or Treat on October 25th….the largest one yet, full of games, candy, prizes and fun.
What a great night at our final Women’s self-defense seminar of the year. These ladies were awesome while working on abduction defense skills, and building a mindset to reenforce that they are worth protecting…we’ll resume our series on January 24th, 2025
Our Black Belt Community Service projects are all about this, giving back to the community. We don’t just strive to make our community safer, we want to make it better! Our team used a beautiful Fall Saturday to help MHF reorganize their entire attic storage area.
